The "One and Only"

I’ve spent a lot of time sharing my personal interactions with Sung, and I know how lucky I’ve been. He really is as nice as everyone says. But as his 'Number One Fan' (a title I'm not giving up!), I want to do more than just talk about our friendship.

I want to dive into the work that made us all fans in the first place. He has millions of followers engaging with him every day, and I want to help them discover the hidden gems in his past career that they might have missed.

Next Stop: New York International Auto Show!

I’ve been seeing Sung appearing at so many Auto Shows lately to promote his movie, Drifter. I kept wondering: when will it be my turn? Finally, the answer is early April!

Since the show is in New York, it’s a totally drivable trip for me, and I’m definitely going to be there. I’m still checking to see if he’ll be there for the full stretch from April 3rd to the 5th, so I need to look at the schedule closely before securing my tickets for the New York International Auto Show.

Thanks to AI

I’m so jealous of everyone who ran into Sung while he was in Japan! My dream is to hang out with him in Tokyo or Yokohama someday. Even if it’s just for a moment, I’m saving that dream for my retirement—though I hope it happens sooner rather than later!

In the meantime, I used AI to create a cool slide deck about him. I'm not sure if I can embed it here, but I’ll try to share it: Han explained in PDF

It only took a few clicks! First, I created a notebook at NotebookLM using the keywords 'Sung Kang Tokyo Drift.' I used the 'Deep Search' option to find about 20 articles online and imported them. Then, I just clicked 'Slide Deck' and waited about 5-10 minutes. Done!

It’s not perfect, but 'Nano Banana' did a decent job generating these Sung-inspired images below:"

Sung Kang Heading to Tokyo! Looking Forward to a Huge 2026

Big news, everyone! I just found out that Sung Kang will be in Tokyo later this week! I have to admit, I’m feeling a little bit of "fan envy" for anyone who is currently in Japan and can make it to see him. If you’re one of the lucky ones who gets to cross paths with him, soak it all in for the rest of us!

I am incredibly hyped to find out more about his latest projects. Between his directing work, his passion for car culture, and his upcoming acting roles, 2026 is shaping up to be a massive year for Sung and his entire community of fans.

Will we see Sung in person this year?

That’s the big question on my mind: Can I see him in person during 2026? Right now, I’m not entirely sure what the schedule holds, but I’m staying hopeful. I know it won’t be long before I get the chance to see him again, share a "hello," and show my support for everything he does. Whether it's at a car show, a premiere, or a fan event, that's the goal!

Staying Positive & Moving Forward

Sometimes, the future feels a bit unclear for all of us. We often find ourselves asking, "What’s next?" In times of uncertainty, I’ve realized the best thing we can do is accept the journey and just keep moving forward. Life is unpredictable, but we can choose to stay positive and be happy. After all, what else can we do? At the very least, we have Sung’s work and his incredible energy to keep us inspired. He’s always been a "good vibes" kind of guy, and we should be, too.

As you might have guessed, the post above was polished by AI (Gemini) to help clean up my rough notes and typos. I even took its suggestion to generate a cool 'stylized' image using Nano Banana... but as you can see, the AI gave us a mystery man instead of Sung! Close, but not quite. :P <-- this was also improved version of my draft. lol
