After everything reviewed, I gave up on participating this event.  :(
But then, I realized that I don't have to be so depressed by this. Why? Because most likely, there will be a lot of pictures tweeted, facebooked, or instagramed with a hashtag, #sungkang after the event, assuming other fans like me shall take a lot of pictures during the event! And even though I won't be there physically, my heart shall be there. May force be with me. (Wrong usage!)

I really don't want to miss this opportunity, but...

Yes! I love this movie. It's actually the best among his works, I think. I do have 2 DVD -- one with Sung's autograph as a collector's edition, the other with no autograph and to view more casually. Anyway, I am a huge fan of this movie! Needless to say, I really hate to pass this opportunity!

Is there any chance I can make it? Financially, my emergency fund might be used. I just checked a round-trip flight with rent-a-car at $548. It's not simple, but not too unrealistic. Time off from work? Hmm... very tricky. But I just need to take Wednesday off, I suppose. But with red-eye flight arriving in the morning of Thursday, I cannot come back in business until around lunch time...

It's a really tough call because I was just promoted this month. Being a new manager and managing six subordinate, taking time off with such a short notice while some others are also out, does not make me look good.  :(

But if I miss this opportunity, I may need to wait another 10 years until I get a chance to see Sung in person again!

How can I justify this? I need to check with my hubby first...

I think my love to Sung is the deepest! It reaches out to the core of the earth! In fact, I don't mind him losing hair like this. (I may have shared this video in the past, but hey, who cares)





You know, I've seen many Korean American guys since I came to the states about 20 years ago especially after I started working in Norther VA. But I've never seen anyone cooler/nicer/funnier than Sung. It's actually not limited to Korean Americans. But among all kinds of people I met, Sung is the best! I just want to say thank you for being so super awesome for such a long time for us.
