Just stumbled on this post and did a double take. Apparently, Sung proposed to his wife in Vegas. File that under “new facts I didn’t know I needed,” tucked somewhere between movie trivia and those oddly specific memories that stick.
There’s something cinematic about it too, right? Vegas isn’t exactly subtle. It’s neon, it’s noise, it’s big feelings turned all the way up. Somehow that makes the moment feel even more fitting, like a scene written to be remembered.
Funny how a single detail like that can reshape the way you picture someone’s story.

I have also been rooting for and following Sung Kang in my heart for a long time. Although I have never met him, I regard him as 'Hyung-Brother in Korean' Since I live in Australia, I rarely have the opportunity to meet Sung. If I ever get to meet him, I would love to talk to him in Korean. I saw Sung having a chat with a race car driver Kang, and unlike Daniel Kim or John Cho, his Korean was actually quite good, better than I expected. Your blog is like an oasis to me. Thank you so much, Mari.
