Two Chow Chows!

I just saw Sung's post. Glad to know that he has two dogs now! I suppose he no longer has a small one with them. Hope not.

Happy Holidays to all~

I'm so proud of my online friends! I haven't done any video mix like this. I haven't figured out how. :P
I wish all of my blog viewers happy holidays no matter where you are! Enjoy this very nice video featuring Han and Gisele.

Thinking of him...

I do not know what to do about what happened, but I've been thinking of those saddened by the tragedy. I feel it is important -- though we may be too powerless to make any difference to the situation -- that we take our time to think of people who need support. Though they have no idea who you are, where you are, it helps. I believe in good faith. It's not always about letting them know or providing something physical. But we just keep the person in our prayer, makes a big difference. I cannot explain very well. I used to think "My thought is with you," doesn't do much. But I think I was wrong. Thinking of something makes difference, somehow, eventually.

R.I.P., Paul...

I've posted nothing but Sung-related matters here, but today, I must express my condolences to Paul Walker's family. I actually didn't know he was younger than me.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all~

Post by Sung Kang.

I just received a super cool Thanksgiving gift! Thank you very much Sung and Fiona who confirmed that you received my gift to Sung! It's also great to see how other fans express their love to him. My Sung is loved by many from many different countries, making me so proud!

I'm glad to see people's support to the post by clicking "Like!" button and leave comments. It seems that Ultraman has been shown in several countries. This picture reminded some of their child-time memories. Something small I did reached hearts of good people! Isn't that wonderful?

It's time to start planning my next gift to Sung. His birthday is in April.

I'm behind recently...

I found more and more fans have been more active and aggressive when it comes to expressing how much they adore Sung. I find more info and nice edited videos from other fan sites. I used to be the one who gets quoted by everyone else, I thought. This blog was the source for many others to come up their own art work. But not any more. For example, this is very nicely done. Hope everyone can see this:

Thank you, hanny-san! Source: (in Japanese, but you can have Google Translate to force it to get displayed in English:

More pic from Sunset Stories

Yes. I have a few more screenshots taken from Sunset Stories. Let me share with you. It's always good to hear from other fans. If you have an account with, check this out:

Thanks to my new network!

There are other people who are as keen as I am when it comes to what's up with Sung. Though their history may be shorter -- they recently became Sung's fan after FF6 watched, they are very motivated to find out more about Sung, and update their blog as well when they found something to share. I've seen some screenshots from this video before, but I don't think I have seen this in video format. I grabbed the link to this video from one of such blogs! Thank you for finding this!

You may notice subtitles in Chinese there. I recently had a chance to chat with one of my colleagues who is originally from China, and found that he and his family are so hooked to Korean dramas. Korean pop culture is dominant in Asia! Thanks to technology, we don't have to worry about physically carrying those media with valuable contents recorded. Of course, we are all aware of the side effects. But hey, it's simply impossible to change the trend. We just need to wait and see what's next.

Memoroy of NYC

It's really great that we can see more pictures from GR on FB, but while we are waiting, let me share what I've got from Sunset Stories. This is one of my favorite angle. His head not straight. This reminds me the moment he looked at me -- a long time ago -- but I do remember the moment very clearly that he was leaning toward the bar counter when I came in the place in NYC in December 2007. I had to greet with another person there first who is one of the staffs traveling with Sung on that day. Then, I wasn't 100% sure if that is actually Sung, but I just thought he is a super good looking guy. I did not recognize him right away because his changed his hair style and it was a little dark place. But then, we got up from the sofa (or chair, I forgot that part) and walked toward me saying, "Hey, I know you." Wow... it's him! And he talked to me first! You may think I'm taking about what happened in my dream. I know I do that all the time. But as far as I remember, that really happened. I won't blame him if he does not remember any of them... but I am somehow convinced that he does. And I know, I will cherish this memory forever.

You're going to love this!

Sunset Stories, now available from Amazon and other major online movie distributors.

A lot of sweet and sour side of Sung can be found in this movie. This is really nice and cute story. I love how each person in this movie gets featured. You'll fall in love with Sung again!

For my friends in Japan, sorry that it is not as easy as just click to buy. But don't worry. I will start posting more screenshots from this movie unless I get complaint from somewhere.

This remind me my time in LA in 2012. I had a lunch at Saketini just to find Sung is no longer involved there. I brought a gift for him, but ended up with bring the same back with me. But that's OK. I should've known that seeing a movie start in person is not as easy as just dropping by a restaurant. But at least, I was able to see this movie in a theater on Sunset Blvd. That is also a very special memory for me.  :)

Who took this?

I just found this from another fan site. Sorry, I don't know the details, but looks like it was taken during FF6. Low resolution pic, but I kind of like it a lot.

I started seeing more and more pictures from GR posted on Sung's official Facebook page, twitter, and instagram. Re-posting those may not be a bad idea, but I try to be on a unique side.

I will try posting more pic not shared in his official site.

Impossible to resist

I'm so powerless when it comes to my effort not to think of Sung. Thank you for letting me stay in love so deeply for years! It will keep going on and on~~~

Monday, September 16, 2013

I'll take either one of you!

I'm running out new info about Sung again... Well, some new pictures from "Gang Related" posted on his Facebook page, which is good. But I'm not good at following what's coming on TV because I ditched Cable about 10 years ago. Anyway, sorry for useless articles.

One new thing I found just now is that Sung will be playing "Connie" in Eden (2014), according to:

Let's keep our eyes on this!

Looking good!

Is Sung a high roller?

I heard it is fairly common for rich people to fly to Vegas by a private jet like this.

BTW, I was in Vegas in July, too! But I took a really cheap package tour. 3 nights at 4-star hotel with two tickets to a famous show plus round trip air tickets from Baltimore, only $375 per person! Let's go LCC!

Viva digital age!

Because of easy-to-use and affordable IT for almost everyone in the world, it's no longer a struggle to find other fans who is as obsessed as I am these days. I found this picture that I haven't seen before, and I'm glad that I can share it here without violating the right of the person who posted it. :D I will start embedding more rather than downloading and uploading, so the viewers know the source. Obviously, most of the pictures I'm sharing in this blog are not taken by me. But believe or not, there are a few actually taken by me and my hubby. You just need to dig in to see them.

Nobody can replace Han! But good luck to Tony

Recently, I started enjoying exchanging comments about Sung and his works at my friend's blog in Japanese and found the link to this video was shared there. This is very nice! This makes us feel that Justin should probably make a spin-off movie featuring these two gorgeous couple.

By the way, today's title is not about this video, but about the news I found at:

All right. That sounds cool. But Sung is not replaced! Well, it's just my weak English interpretation that made me feel this is not right. It simply means Sung is not going to be in FF7 but Tony Jaa will take the Asian spot. Hmm... Wait! Asian spot? So, it's still true that Hollywood have to cast Asian actor for the Asian role only. That is also not right. But actually, the original role of "Han" was created for an African male. But because of Justin sees the role is Sung's (Han's), it was taken by Sung. Similar happened to "Bullet to the Head." The role was not for intended for an Asian male. So, Sung is doing the other way around. Non-Asian to Asian. But once the role or the position established for an Asian, then, some other Asian male actor takes over. Racial profiling continues...

He won't be a Ninja, I suppose

I saw some previews of up coming movies recently and realized that what Sung and his friends pointed out before -- Asian male characters can be either Ninja or Kung Fu master in best case scenario, but mostly either bad guy or poor/uncool character -- continues to be true, unfortunately. The one I saw has a lot of Asian characters, but they are all some kind of worriers. It's not even clear if they are Japanese or Chinese. I saw a Japanese actor, but he may be acting as a Chinese. It's not unusual to see someone's role is not based on where they are actually coming from. But when it comes to Asian males, it gets worse. Most of Japanese characters are not played by Japanese. So, it may be a good idea that the nationality of the role itself is not clearly defined. Just like Hibachi restaurants in USA. Most of Hibachi chefs are not Japanese. In fact, we don't have Hibachi restaurant in Japan. Have I mentioned this in this blog before?

But somehow, I'd like to see Sung playing a Japanese character. Oh wait. He did it once. He was a Japanese yakuza in Ninja Assassin! I really liked how he did.

Anyway, it's getting late here in East Coast USA. I'd better sleep now.

Good diagram!

Picture from IMDB (Gang Related) and not related to what I'm writing below.

Check this out!

This is from the article I just found:

It's also good to know that the director for FF7 will be also an Asian American -- based on his name.

I also found that a new film listed as his next work:

Sounds like "LOST" the movie?

Optical Illusions?

It may be just me, but your hand looks big. lol~

I saved a lot of pictures on my machine and forgot where those came from. Sorry for missing credit. Feel free to claim one if it belongs to you.

How many minutes did I think of him today? Not sure. But I often think of him while I'm driving and especially when I stuck in a traffic. That is probably because I remember what he wrote a while ago, about how he hates LA late afternoon traffic. That's one of the factors stopping me to moving to LA. Well, traffic in my area isn't a lot better anyway, though. I'm in DC metro area and commute Mon-Fri.

Sung! I just need to say aloud sometimes -- after my hubby fell asleep.  :P

Looks fairly recent

I saw this picture posted on Facebook's fan site. Sorry, no credit available. I clopped out the girl next to him in case she does not like her picture posted.

Let me also share a link to an article I recently saw:

My new friend from Japan -- another Sung Kang addict!

I'm so proud to announce that I finally have a sister blog (?) administrated by my new friend in Japan. She did not mean to copy me, but she also picked her blog title as "Sung Kang Daisuki" before she knew my blog. She was polite enough to let me know this coincident and asked me if I'm OK with that. Sure! That's not a problem. I just requested a simple clarification that there will be no confusion and people will know that these two blogs are updated by two different fans. Well, after all, most of people don't care. But it may make some people wonder why there are two blogs with the same name -- one in Japanese, the other in English. The one in Japanese has just started this month (Aug 2013), and a lot of interesting confession about how much she is into Sung. So, the idea/motivation for our blogging is completely the same. We just want to say "Sung!! I love you!" and let everyone on the earth know about our obsession.

Amazon vs. iTunes Store

I downloaded "Bullet to the Head" at iTunes store and realized that I cannot take screenshots there. Perhaps try on iPhone? This screenshot was captured when I was playing "4 Wedding Planners"I streamed at Amazon instant video. Maybe I should start streaming more often than downloading. I don't have enough free space on my iOS devices anyway and now I have 4G.

Popular and Famous in Thailand, too!

This is a great interview! Enjoy!

Real Name vs. Abbreviate Name

We envy Korean audience who saw Sung visiting there on promoting the movie.

It's interesting to see how his name spelled in Korean. He doesn't really use English name. But it is still written in First Name first, then, family name. That's not how we (Korean, Japanese, and some other Asian countries people) do. But again, "Sung" is not an English name! But it is kind of customized to English speaking world because he trimmed the last one letter, "Ho." I am not sure how common it is in Korea that people call someone by the first name of the first half only. Oh wait. That's what my husband does. But I've never seen him called by the first half of the first name only. It's only non-Korean who call him by that. Anyway, I'm just curious how Sung's direct family members call him.

More fans from Japan!

This picture is not related to what I'm writing here. I often do that because I just download some pictures I see online and stock up for my blog. But I forget where I got the picture from or the picture was found by someone else and posted on a fan page of Facebook... Do let me know if someone would like me to remove this picture for any reason.

I start seeing more and more access to my blogs from Japan where I posted articles about Sung and his works. Looks like he gained even more fans after Fast and Furious 6 has been released in Japan. There are not enough information about some of his old films like "Better Luck Tomorrow," and "The Motel," because they were not released in Japan. So, people who look for information about them end up with my articles. I recently enhanced them to include a bit more about the storyline, and made one girl purchase "Better Luck Tomorrow" in DVD though Amazon. Though some viewers struggles understanding the story without subtitles, the film is cool enough and the viewer were very satisfied to see Han in high school. If you haven't seen "Better Luck Tomorrow," don't miss it!

Hengao (Funny face) series

I don't watch many American TV shows, but I do recognize this guy from Lost. I heard he even lives in Maryland. Not sure if that's true. But that's what I heard. Anyway, can't wait! And I'm still debating.. it is time for me to upgrade my Analog TV and go for HD?

Don't we love this kind of funny side of Sung, too? I do~~

Thursday, July 4, 2013

2014? Can't wait!

Hope everyone is having a happy 4th BBQ today! I hope I'm not missing anything here, but this series has not yet started.

Did I use this picture before?

I was browsing my old collection and found this one. I have a few other blogs besides this one and one of the article there is about "Better Luck Tomorrow." I wrote my review in Japanese. I start seeing more and more visitor to the article and the visitors seem to have found my article with Search Engines.  Looks like there aren't much articles about the work because, as far as I know, it has not been released in Japan. I feel bad that one of few sources of information about the movie is my blog article! I did not write well to help the visitors get the idea about the excellent work. So, I went ahead to add more details including the story line. Now, they may it as a spoiler!  Oh well.

Anyway, this is Sung in early 2000s' talking about BLT.

Popular on Pinterest, too!

I see more follows for one of my boards with Pinterest:

It's another good way to share all the pictures I find online! We love Sung~~

Sunday, June 9, 2013

Hey, I know how to ride, too!

I think they should make a spin-off version of movie featuring these two. Another branch of prequel! Why not???

More viewers!

Let me share some stats about my blog today. Thanks to Fast and Furious 6, more and more visitors from all over the world. Check this out.

Thank you for visiting my blog! Let's keep loving Sung together~~~

New facts learned!

It's really cool that many interviews with Sung are posted online! And this one gave me new facts! Well, I knew about Han from Better Luck Tomorrow, but this fully confirmed that it, indeed, was meant to be the same guy! That is a good news for fans from Fast and Furious series who have never seen Better Luck Tomorrow. There is one more movie where we can see high school version of Han. Isn't that cool?

Though my policy is not to disturb his personal life, since he is officially sharing some here, I guess it's OK to talk a little about it this time. So, his wife seems to be a Korean designer! Hmm... Somehow, I was under the impression that she is not from Korea. Well, it is actually written like this -- "She’s a clothing designer in Korea," -- I'm not sure if this can be translated that she is a Korean.

This interview also helped me confirming that Sung is no longer in restaurant business. I was a little too late to visit the restaurant formally owned by his wife. But I'm still glad that I visited there because it was the place Sung and his family/friends spent some time.

The interview also clarified that there will be no more Han in future Fast and Furious series. No Justin, No Han. :(  But I don't mind if it turned out that Han has a twin brother who also knows how to drive  fast cars or ride cool motorcycles. I don't mind at all! But I know what Sung meant. Sung is not only Han though Han is always Sung.

Saturday, May 25, 2013

Wow!! That was really fast and furious!

I know I missed the first day, but I made it tonight! The ticket for 12am was sold out when we got the theater around 11:45pm. My hubby and I had to wait until 1am. But the theater was still packed! And people really loved it! Of couse, so did we. The funny thing is that there aren't that many so-called majority group of people in the audience. Where are they? I kept looking. Anyway, that's not the most important part. I don't want to spoil the movie for those who are going to watch it later. But I must say, excellentest, greatest, the best! All kinds of funs and cool stuffs involved. Well, I must admit that I'm not a car person. But that doesn't really matter. Even my picky hubby loved this one a lot. My hubby said the tank must be CG. Some part may have been. But I can tell there were a lot of physically real cars there. And it was really good to see RX-7 again!

Great job!!!!

Thursday, May 23, 2013

Today is the day!

Not sure if I can make it tonight, but definitely within this long weekend, I will go get Han on the big screen!

OK. I missed!

I know I can't claim myself as #1 fan of Sung any more. T_T  I missed the chance to get his tweet back today. My work hours on Fridays = 9am to 7pm EST.  :(
I guess I should've sent the tweet with #FastChat earlier. But it's good to know his dream role is Genghis Khan! I have that song on my iPhone.

You can check all the fun tweets exchanged today at:

Time to get a new TV for me?

I must confess that I live in a place with no cable and no digital TV. My analog TV is connected to an old DVD player. I watch TV news, Netflix, and YouTube on my iPad. But if I can see Sung regularly on TV, I should look into getting a new TV with a digital recording capability.

Monday, April 22, 2013

People started talking about F6 a lot!

Yes. I'm waiting! Will they try demystifying why Han is still alive this time?

Monday, April 8, 2013

Happy Birthday to you~

May your wishes come true!

Yes. I drew this. I figured it's time to use my own artwork for my blog. I know I'm not a real artist. But you can tell this is how I feel. Hope you receive my gift soon. :D

Saturday, April 6, 2013

Great in short!

Thanks to Fiona, I downloaded and watched this short film today and loved the work! :D Very nice~~
But just wonder whose idea it was to put the word, "squid" in Japanese there...?

They all look so fresh here!

I know it is a copy-righted/water-marked pic. So, I'll put the original URL:

But I could not ignore this one because all of them here look so fresh! And sorry for fans for other actors, but to me, Sung is still the best here.

Monday, April 1, 2013

Don't ask me who is the one next to Sung because I don't know!

Someone posted this picture somewhere.. sorry, I forgot to keep the URL. But I think it was found on Instagram. I like people tag him!

By the way, have you sent out a birthday gift to Sung yet? I did! Hope his management office can forward it to him on or before his birthday. And hope he likes it.

Competing with pictures

I'm completing with Fiona who officially takes care of Sung's PR. She's been posting "never seen before" images of Sung on his Facebook page. I have to use another route -- Google search -- to find some picture that has not been posted on Sung's official Facebook page. I know, I don't have to compete. But just posting the same picture will be boring. I must show my sophisticated ability to sniff online here. :P

For those who want to send a birthday present to Sung

I just grabbed the address from Sung's official Facebook page:

Sung Kang
Management 360

9111 Wilshire Blvd
Beverly Hills, CA 90210

Saturday, March 23, 2013

Sung's birthday is coming!

I'd better start checking the mailing address to which I can send a birthday gift to Sung. Yes. I will send something to him. Hope he receive it by his birthday next month. Meanwhile, we just check out a cool picture from Bullet to the Heads. :D

Wednesday, March 20, 2013

I like him in a comfortable clothing like this, too! Next time, he can smile a bit more, maybe? lol~

Thursday, February 21, 2013

Sung will be on TV soon!

Thanks to my very good friend, I found the latest news about Sung.

But wait! I don't have a cable nor a digital TV! (Oops, our home TV is still analog.)  Will this be available on iPad, too?

Monday, February 18, 2013

Did you watch the movie yet?

If you have not made up your mind yet, just got there. You won't regret. I guarantee!

Monday, February 4, 2013

May 2013!

Have  you see this exciting trailer yet?  :D

Vin Diesel knows who Vin Disel is (lol)

Perfectly enjoyable!

Yes! I saw it! "Bullet to the Head!"

The movie started with Sung! I had to try really hard not to scream. Totally stunning beginning! I'm not a good movie critic, but I can tell it is a well done work. Even though if you are not a fan of either Sung or Stallone, you will find this very entertaining. Good amount of actions/drama as well as nice characters. I actually did not know Christian Slater is in. But I'm not sure how I recognized him. I don't remember any other works he did in the past. But his name just poped up in my mind when I saw him.

Anyway, this movie has a very nice 80s' feeling. And yes. Stallone is an old guy, but fully functional and maintained a good charisma. Sung, on the other hand, is a type of characters that we would have never seen in Hollywood movies of 80s'.  This combination is new. And I heard a lot of laughter from the audience in the theater from their conversation. My husband and I also enjoyed the sense of humor.

The other thing I liked about this movie is that there were not too many CG used or at least, I could not identify where CG was used. I easily get sick of CG-fulled movie. But I did not get that from this one.

Will I buy DVD or download it from iTunes store when it becomes available? Most definitely!

Saturday, February 2, 2013

It's here!

No. I haven't watched it yet. But probably tonight or tomorrow!

Saturday, January 26, 2013

Long and fulfilling interview

It is a very good preview of the film coming up soon! (yes, very soon).

Many interesting facts! But if you are the type of the person who prefer zero knowledge about the film before you watch, don't read this. Luckily, I'm not that type. I really enjoyed reading this article. Very informative.

:) :) :)

Age difference?

Just curious.. how far are their ages apart? Well, Sung is as old as I am. And I remember watching Rocky when I was very little. One of the first few American movies in my life that I remember. Hmm... Not sure if Stallone is older than Sung's father but should be close.
